Grease manufacturer:Selection of lubricating grease

Grease manufacturer:Selection of lubricating grease
1. Temperature:
The type and grade of lubricating grease should be selected based on the working temperature (℃) and environmental temperature (℃) of the friction surface.
The usage temperature of general lubricating grease should be 20-30 ℃ lower than the dripping point. At low temperatures, the starting torque of machinery is relatively high, and lubricating grease with high cone penetration made of low viscosity mineral oil should be chosen.
2. Load:
Lubricating grease with low cone penetration can withstand heavier loads than lubricating grease with high cone penetration.
For friction surfaces that withstand heavy loads or impact loads, extreme pressure lithium, extreme pressure composite lithium grease, molybdenum disulfide lithium, molybdenum disulfide composite calcium, and extreme pressure expansion lubricating grease with high oil film strength and added extreme pressure additives should be selected. On friction surfaces with light and medium loads, choose lubricating grease with appropriate cone penetration and without the need for extreme pressure additives.
3. Speed:
Due to the poor heat dissipation of lubricating grease, the type and grade of lubricating grease should be selected based on the speed. Lubricating grease with low starting torque and rust resistance should be selected for frequently started components.
4. Environment:
In humid environments, lubricating grease with excellent water resistance should be selected. In dusty environments, lubricating grease with solid lubricant should be selected. In environments with corrosive gases, lubricating grease with good protection and sealing properties should be selected.
