Viscosity characteristics of lubricating grease

During the use of lubricating grease, there are unstable substances in the mineral oil, which will increase the viscosity due to the combined action of thermal degradation and oxidative degradation; synthetic lubricating oil will present excellent special grease degree performance. The viscosity change of lubricating grease is also affected by the decrease of shear performance of viscosity index improver. The mechanical shear stability and the performance of maintaining the viscosity grade depend on the type and quality of viscosity index improver used in oil formula. The synthetic base oil has good viscosity characteristics, which can control the volatility and reduce the evaporation loss.
